I'm pretty sure we've gone over this before....
Vince would have to stay as far away from the product of possible. He is only a detriment to legitimacy and realism which are two of the most important selling points of MMA.
The only good thing I could see about it would be that the UFC would have to pay their fighters more to prevent people from jumping ship. As far as television goes, I don't think Vince could help MMA in a significant way except to promote it on his wrestling shows. His current product is already slowly being pushed to edges of primetime television, trying to put an MMA show somewhere might just break the camel's back.

Like a few others have said on here, as long as Vince keeps it as a legit MMA promotion, then I think it has a good chance to be sucessful. No fixed fights, no stupid WWE angles or anything like that.
Vince obviously has the money and I'm sure he'd be willing to spend it to get a few big MMA guys into his promotion. Especially if Dana White continues to pay most of his fighters next to nothing.
As everyone has seen, Vince is a master promoter and I'm sure he'd have no problem promoting the events and getting people out to see it as long as he has a few decent names to start things out.

Just in case anybody forgot, Vince McMahon employed both Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn in the late 90s when both guys were in their primes and still hot in the UFC. We've already seen Tito Ortiz serve as guest ref in a TNA wrestling main event on a PPV. MMA and Pro Wrestling will share a closer relationship as time goes on. I bet Vince will employ Tim Sylvia soon and bring him in as the 3rd brother of Kane and Undertaker. Either that, or bring him in as The Yeti.

vince should just stay away, if he is going to do anything with mma, it should be in the very back where no one knows he is there just dishing out money to help out and taking his cut besides that no one would belive it was real,

This won't be bad for MMA, it may be bad for the WWE, if it fails, but if it is successful then it would be great. If Vince is serious, then we will see some top names in MMA in his federation. Everyone thinks that Dana and Vince are the same, but there is one difference, Vince will put out the money to buy the big names and put on the big shows. Vince would be in it to become the top MMA federation in the world, and he would be trying to take all the most popular and most talented fighters to create his federation. Just because WWE is not as good as it once was, it was great before and Vince does put on big time live shows, with a lot of advertising. I hope this happens, it would be excellent to see a new MMA Federation start up with a tonne of cash right off the bat. I'm sure if it does and the fights are good, then we all will be ordering the WWE MMA PPV.
Vince should buy the WFA and give it a face lift. Maybe he could come out and announce the purchase at the next WFA PPV.

It's just a good life rule to keep people like Vince McMahon as far away as possible from anything you love.

If Vince does MMA it won't be fixed, and he would never try to do that. MMA fans are not stupid, and as soon as something like that happened it would be over for Vince's MMA dreams and the fighters that fixed the fight as well. We all really should look forward to the possibility of this happening. This means that MMA has a chance to grow even bigger in North America. The more MMA the better for all of us.

Wouldn't it be funny if he had his daughter Stephanie running his MMA company? She'd make some great matches. We'd see UFC ring card girls going at it in a bra and panties match.
