Anyways, Tyson Griffin isn't the future of the UFC LW division. This is as mind boggling as Rory being the next Jason Thacker. One fight and you guys jump to complete extremes one way or the other. Rory wins but not very impressively (even though it was a KO lol), he's as bad as Thacker. Griffin gets a controversial disputed stoppage against Bang, he's the best thing since sliced bread. Go figure.

Shields is a good one though.

I watched the "cam" clip of Griffin/Bang and from the view of the camera you can't tell shit. According to everyone their live it was a shitty stoppage, Bang popped up and was protesting the stoppage immediately.

Regardless, even if it was a legit win beating Bang in MMA at 155 lbs. doesn't mean you're going to take over the entire division. He's not even a 155 fighter. Faber is another good win, but again he's not a 155 fighter either technically.

as for griffin, yeah he looks promising. yeah he's got some wins against names under his belt, but he's still only had something like six or seven fights. ufc's lightweight division looks like it's going to be a monster, and i highly doubt that griffin is quite ready for it yet.

i talk to griffen at least once a week in person, and dana white has already offered him a contract or a chance to be in the tuf 4. Tyson training partner is dave terell who is already in the ufc and dana has seen tyson fight and loves him.
