Vera hasn't fought sh*t. Fighting a fatassed Mir is a joke. Mir got killed in the first round only 2 fights ago.

Im pretty sure that vera will ko mir, mir isnt the same anymore plus ill say it again mir hasnt fought any good fighters either, well if you call tim a good fighter then ok 1 besides that they were all ok fighters when the hw was really weak so they just looked better, vera has fought better comp and it will show when he ko's mir

I think Vera is good, but has gotten too big for his britches. I would like to see Mir KO or sub Vera, I just don't see that happening.

im not saying mir is over rated, because i like to watch the man fight, but come on he just like vera hasnt fought the best people, at least vera has fought more guys to be able to say hes tougher and only half way good fighter is tim that mir fought, besides that mir is on the low side of good competion, but i would love to see vera choke him out

Mir was a good fighter......before his accident. We've obviously not seen much from him since his return. Vera, on the other hand seems to be improving as he goes along(in talent and opposition). Vera has already stated that the new mir is not the one he's training for. Mir said he was actually gonna be in great shape and Vera has been training for him to be that way. But, no matter which Mir shows up, I see Brandon's muay tai being his advantage in this fight. Vera's legs are deadly! Also, if it goes to the ground, I think Vera can also beat Mir there too.

i agree. i think that vera will be too much for mir. even if the fight goes to the ground.....(which we all know it will)

i believe that the "old mir" is long gone...sad enough to say. and even if he shows up in great shape....i don't think he will win this fight.

i would still like to see vera fight someone else of better calibur with better skills.....*cough..cough* arlovski, before he is ranked #1 or fed a title shot.

why, andrei isnt number 1 he got beat by tim 2 times in a row, he has to start from the begining , vera is undefeated in the ufc, so winning against mir would def put him up close to number 1 , if not winning the match will put him at 1, because who else, andrei dont deserve vera after his 2 losses, i dont think hes that great hes a good fighter with power but a week ass chin, thats been proven so many times, but anyway vera will be fighting for the champion ship somtimes in 07
