Who is the number one contender in the UFC lightweight division?

Spencer Fisher?
Sam Stout?
Melvin Guillard?

i see them giving it to spencer fisher. he's got a nice highlight reel they can use to promote the fight. also, stout's not in UFC anymore

Where is Stout fighting? I wasnt rooting for him against fisher, but i thought he had good potential

Neither of those three.The most deserving for a title shot is Hermes Franca.He's won 7 fights in a row and has finished all 7 opponents.

I'd like to see a number one contender tourney... Fisher vs. Guillard, Stevenson vs. Franca. I'd pick Fisher to win it, but I'd love to see any of the other three... I like to root for the least likely guy to win it, so I'd say that's Guillard No offense to the guy, great fighter... but great competition also.

I'd say Stevenson is the least likely to win not Melvin.

Hermes Franca deserves a shot over everyone else. He's the most exciting fighter with no one to fight.
