Withall these other camps moving to the forefront i lost sight of them being more than that.

I wasn't trying to be a dick... I think you are ignorant when it comes to where the Gracie Academy fits into the world of fighting and who is actually associated with Gracie Academy.
The Gracies haven't fallen from grace... the Rorion, Rickson, Royler, Renzo, and Royce simply much older then they used to be and either don't compete or compete at the level they used to. Roger and Cesar have nothing to do with Helio and his sons other then they share the last name and also are world class BJJ fighters.
I'm tired of reading blanket statements about the Gracie Academy, Gracie family, and anyone with the last name Gracie... as if they are all collective and one speaks for all of them.
Anyone who shits on the Gracie family (Helio's family) is shitting on MMA since they basically made it what it was regardless of what people think of Royce's opponents.
Helio: created the guard and Jiu-Jitsu as we know it
Rickson: made MMA what it is in Brazil and Japan
Rorion: Created the UFC
Royce: popularized BJJ in the US
Sure Royce did roids and that was bad, but just because he was a Gracie he picks up extra ridicule and attention compared to Barnett, Sherk, Franca, Syliva, etc... and then people tie this situation to a distant cousin that pulled out of a fight because of a rib injury? Seriously, wtf?
