My #1 would easily be seeing these little 17yr old anorexic f*cks that punch a bag for a couple hours a week, maybe kick it a time or two, brag about their "awesome submission game" which is limited to the guillotine or some redneck choke, buy a "Throwdown" or "Affliction" t-shirt and think they're an mma fighter. I no sh*t heard one little dude that had agreed to fight in a local backyard "mma" fight tell someone, "yeah...Im a UFC fighter." I literally laughed at him. F*ckin' losers.

I actually like Mauro quite a lot.
I'd put--and you'll probably hate this--the rise in popularlity of the term "rape choke" due to one of Rogan's stoned comments. I understand how a lot of internet guys might think it's funny, but there's nothing funny about rape, ever. Maybe I'm a humorless asshole, but I've known several women who were raped, and I can't find the clever-cleverness of it at all.
Other than that, I use volume control for the shit metal and I just laugh and agree to a lot of ignorant bullshit when it's spouted by people who aren't worth the time to explain things to.

i hate the fact that people joke and ask "dude whens your next fight"because someone is wearing a tapout hat or affliction shirt. I should start going around asking people "dude when do you pitch again" just cause someone wearing a cubs hat.
i also hear mma called "ufc fighting" all the time.

dead-on list man. i hate all of that garbage... especially the tie of UFC to shitty alt-metal... heh
as far as all this clothing garbage goes, i refuse to wear anything with an emblem on it. yeah, i have combat sport shorts, but at least i'm not a walking billboard. affliction and tapout stuff has no place in mma... i hate how they're trying to sell this badass mma lifestyle.
but the thing i hate more than anything...

I see your point. I know a few rape victims as well. I just find the absurdity of some actually saying that on national TV to be funny, which is why it caught on. I don't joke around about rape with the exception of using Rape Choke online, but I guess it's easier to have that written somewhere in your sig when they people you're communicating whit really don't have a face to you, as awful as it sounds. |

hahaha this is so fucking true. yet so annoying. notice how many chad/bros with affliction shirts and tapout shirts and if you ask them anything about mma, all they can say is chuck liddell. mention fedor, cro cop, hendo, wandy barnett..etc...they would be clueless. it does indeed suck but oh well i guess
