I really dont care who Shogun fights I just want to see him back in the cage destroying people like he did in Pride. I would like to see him fight Coleman but I would have rather seen him fight Soko.

War shogun i want him to fight soku as a warm and if he can get past him start giving him the top tier lhw's and see where he goes from there if he wanted to fight quickly i'd say feed em a can. then he will have some serious choices on who he can fight three months after that

I'm gonna miss Shogun stomps and soccer kicks... those were a huge part of his arsenal and huge part of him finishing opponents.... idk.

i am not what you would call a mainstream fan... but right now i feel shogun has to prove that he still can be the wrecking machine he was in pride.

So many fights in the light heavyweight division I want to see, I'm sure a bunch of them will never happen. I think Rashad's almost but set to figh Forrest, yea? Don't think they'll make this fight happen unless they want to have Forrest fight in the SUMMER of '09, haha.

The article mentioned a good idea... Franklin vs Shogun.

That's a high-callibre fight and I consider Shogun to be better than Franklin on the feet and on the ground. If they don't want to give Shogun an easier victory against Coleman, then the Franklin fight is the way to go.

Does anyone else think it's a little early for Shogun to be back? Didn't he just tear his ACL for the second time just a few months ago? I thought they were projecting December for his return?

I'm glad to see him back, but I just want him back at 100%. I don't think he should get Rashad either, give him a warmup fight at least (if there's such a thing in the UFC)
