It will be a much longer road now if that is what he plans to do....Also, he is going to have to get used to people counter punching. It seems when he faces somebody that wont charge him he gets frusterated and makes mistakes. Jardine and Rashad have set a blueprint on how to beat Chuck and it is likely everone will try to follow it.

Does anyone pick Rashad over Forest now after seeing what he did to Chuck? Just wondering. I still give it to Forest. Oh and for those of you who don't want to watch the vid Rashad gets a title shot next.

true dat .....i almost puked when that shot landed!!! he definitly needs to rethink his fighting stance now that guys are figuring out how to beat him he needs to keep his damn hands up by his chin not down by his waist and a little head movement couldnt hurt. i think with proper striking defence that punch wouldnt have landed same with the rampage shot. but what do i know. all thats for sure is it was a sad night for the iceman fans

Chuck needs a new camp. He needs to mix up his style a bit.

Evans is just too much for Forrest IMO. He can put Forrest on his back when ever he wants and he can out box Forrest. The major advantage Forrest would have against Evans are those nasty Leg Kicks, but ummm Evans trains with Jardine so I am willing to bet he will be ready for leg kicks. Evans puts Forrest away mid way through the 3rd with some GnP.

Those who hate Evans need to get use to him, I along with some other people (namely Afro) have been right about Evans. He is the future of the LHW divison. Hes a great wrestler, boxer and has a good ground game. It was only a matter of time before he put it all together and he did on the biggest stage of his career. Evans will be LHW champion by this time next year and he is a guy that could hold on to it for a while.

If he was 30-34 years hold yea I agree. But Liddell is 38 years old and switching camps could do more harm then good at this point. Look @ Hughes, before he left MFS he was dominate, leave that camp for his own and he has gotten his ass kicked twice. Starting a new camp is not always the answer.

Agreed! I've been saying it for over a year now. Can anyone name one of his training partners? I know there's a few guys but no one substantial. He needs to train at a better camp and develop a better game plan. Simply going for the KO will impress fans, but it wont always help you win fights.

I disagree Forrest would control Evans on the ground and I don't know about being a better striker just because he ko Chuck. He stood in there with Rampage and didn't get ko I doubt Evans could. Look what he did to Rampage when Rampage took him to the ground, he even controlled it from the bottom. So yeah Evans can take him down but that is about it imo. Oh and Forrest has Couture for a game plan and that certainly doesn't help Evans.

I think Rampage really was the first to point out Chuck's carelessness when he gets frusterated. Especially in the second fight. Right after Rampage threw his hands up to say "come on, fight me" is when Chuck threw the left to the body and got countered.

I have a lot more respect for Evans now than I did last night, but I still don't think he's beating Forrest, for several reasons:

1) Forrest has a reach advantage, and he'll fucking use it. His jab is stiff and technical, not that lazy thing that Chuck kept throwing.

2) Forrest will actually keep his damn hands up.

3) Size advantage. Forrest is a huge 205, and again, he'll know how to use it because of...

4) Randy Couture. I am now convinced that Couture and Greg Jackson are the two most masterful gameplanners in MMA...but Couture still > Jackson.
