Good point, but let's be honest.....the Chuck Liddel that fought those two has packed his shit and left, and alll that's left now is an older, slower, more careless Chuck Liddell that will continue to get knocked out if he stays in the LHW division.

Yeah, I knew he was going to lose, as long as Rashad stuck to the game plan like Jardine did, just not that devastatingly. Horrible loss.

Chucks future
I think it's time for Chuck to go to heavyweight. Remember Randy got knocked out twice at lhw and since has moved up,performed well and everyone has forgot about him getting knocked out for the most part. Chuck like Randy has gotten slower so if he put 20 pounds of lean muscle with his power he can knockout any heavyweight in the world and they will all be slower and easier for him to hit. I also think that chuck should start to threaten more takedowns. By doing so he will have his opponent guessing and knockout will be more likely. An example of this is go in for takedown, opponent sprawls and and he knocks them out ala lauzon pulver) Chuck being less predictable is what he needs to dominate in a world of mma where the skill bar in all areas is constantly being raised

I think Chuck saw this as a fight he could win. I think if he'd shown the same amount of respect he showed Wandi, the fight would have ended differently.

I'm not convinced time has passed him by...I think Chuck's work ethic is the biggest question mark for me...he didn't show Rashad any of the striking defense that he showed with Wandi, and Rashad was able to make him pay for it big time. I don't know that Chuck is over the hill, or that Rashad is great; I just think he lacks focus and took this fight lightly.

I think Rashad deserves the shot at Griffin now with last nights performance.
I don't think Chuck is like...washed up or anything (which is the attitude a lot of people are taking....
Lidell vs. Jardine seems like the most viable match up at the moment. I would anticipate this fight alot and would make an excellent addition to any card. Jardine Beat Chuck, Wandy beat Jardine, Chuck beat Wandy...
Lyoto should fight Wandy next, and the winner of that gets the winner of Griffin/Evans.

reasonable for the mw division:
winner of bisping/leben vs. anderson silva for title (if okami is not ready yet)
if okami gets the shot, the winner of bisping/leben vs. marquardt
hendo vs. damian miaia (sp?)
kampan vs. leites (after thales's next bout win or lose)

I like those matchups a lot. They make the most sense.

I also agree and at this point in their carrers it means nothing too, Silva beat him twice what does it do for him if its 3 times not much as for Rampage he just lost a split controversial decision to Forrest and Chuck was to be next in line..with the LHW divison in a complete limbo why not give Jackson an immediate rematch....that makes more sense than any other fight in the LHW division I think then it should be Rashad vs Lyoto for a title shot fuck the style differences...no one seen Rashad knocking out Chuck maybe he will Lyoto or the other way around!

Chuck should get rid of that ridiculous Mohawk and maybe grow out his hair for a change. Maybe that will change his luck.
