I really hope that this fight happens. It seems like every time you see CroCops name in a fight it usually doesnt happen for some reason or another. I really think Overeem is going to win this fight. Like someone said I just dont think CroCop cares anymore. I want to see how Mirko reacts when he gets in some trouble. This fight will show where both fighters careers are heading.

i got CC winning this. If Overeem gets hit with one hard punch, he just gives up. it's a shame, the guy has so much talent.

CroCop needs to put Overeem in a hurt locker, close the door, and show the doubters he's still a bad mutha.

i couldve sworn i remember hearing that if crocop got 2 to 3 wins and felt confident, he could go back to ufc. now he wants to fight fedor? hes still delusional. If he were to go back to ufc and avenge his losses, then when his contract is up fight a heavyweight contender in affliction, then fight fedor. I personally would want crocop to beat overeem and go back to ufc and fight in light heavy. Even though the heavyweight division is weak, the opponents are far bigger than crocop, and that really affects him. gain muscle for hw or lose weight for lhw for success.

It pains me to say it, but I think Overeem takes it.
That being said, I will be rooting for CC.

I think it would be a good matchup since sadly both their endurances seem the same. This should make for a good fight if they both come out banging. I really believe this will be the fight that decides his retiring or not.

Yeah, unfortunately, Overeem is a guy who I like a lot.. but he gasses and gives up so easily sometimes.
Gonzaga is similar.. but Gonzaga doesn't like getting hit, that is why he quits... not so much the stamina thing.

Does he deserve it? no. did Tim deserve it? He was coming off a loss so I think the answer is no. Did Hong Man Choi Deserve to fight Fedor? fuck no. Half the people Fedor fought didnt deserve to fight him.
so he wants to fight Fedor, big deal. Crocop is still huge in Japan and this would be a big money fight.

repd man
i'm praying to see the old Cro Cop
The guy should have enough drive to become great once again. He's never been Pride or UFC champion, and his losses to gabe and Kongo were pretty embarassing...but he's talented as hell. it would be a shame to see him go out without making some sort of comeback

goin with cro cop on this one. an opponant like overeem after being thoroughly embarassed in the UFC should bring out the best in him. i think people are too quick to judge in mma, calling someone washed up right out of the gate. i really, really, reeeeeeeally hope that he just had a bit of a dry spell like wandy did.
but, come on, you know that if he knocked over's block off, all the haters would throw up CC sigs and scream about how he's back. i hate the bandwagon crap.
