If the Olympics ever picked up MMA it would most likely be in the form of Pancrase or it would be amature, would it not? If boxing can work MMA can...

Boxing won't work unless the rounds are shortened and the fighters are fitted with gear. Why wouldn't mma work? Boxers easliy get injured more often mma fighters. I mean legit injuries. If all the components work by themselves, mma has to work.

Yea, I think I am one of the few here that is against MMA in the olympics. The main reason is that it would probably be the dagger that elimnated wrestling from the olympics. Wrestling has already had several wieght classes cut from it. You guys have to remember for every sport they add in the olympics, they cut another.

I think if it were to happen they'd taking some rules from Pancrase, Rings, and Deep. AS Baby face said it would be all amateurs.

No Strikes on the ground, grappling is restricted to after takedowns because there would be a standing 8 count, no elbows, Stand ups for getting too close to ropes, rope breaks, plus all the fouls from the unified rules
