“The champion of the event picking the opponents… The champ has to fight whoever the event wants. Nick Diaz has qualities to steal his belt, and I want to get into this battle too. If you have the belt, you need to be prepared to fight everybody. Every fighter that goes to EliteXC wants to fight for the belt, nobody signs a contract thinking about fighting the worst opponent”, criticised the athlete, that hopes fighting again in October.

OMF I was arguing this point for like 3 pages in a thread about 2weeks ago, for the UFC nonetheless:
RUMOR:MMAbay says Rampage/Wandy Set for UFC 91 in November
this was my exact quote:

"The way I look at it is, If your in the UFC, then your fighting for the title, no ones job is just to fight, but never dream of touching a title, and if that is someones job, it certaintly isnt Pages."

Morango speaks it like a true champion.
Every job has an ultimate goal that you look to achieve, most of the time its becoming the boss, retiring or making more money. For an MMA fighter, its a professional job, a job that only has
one goal in mind,
the belt.
Every fighter in Every org, in Every weight class, is looking the get their hands on thier respective belts. No fighters are just fighting for shits n giggles and never dream of touching a title.
As well as Champions should have to fight ANYONE the org tells them to, period. If everyones job is to go for this title, then who are you to shut down their dream and say they dont deserve a shot at your title? Noons should know this, he was once a contender too.
I Tottally agree with him and would Rep him if I could lol
As far the whole Noons/Diaz situaion goes, Im gonna wait untill some more facts are out before I pass judgement. At first I jumped the gun and expressed my anger about Noons ducking Diaz, but apparently theres some problems between Noons and Elite that cant be talked about untill a press conference, so I'll just wait untill then to declare wither Noons is ducking fighters or not.
Its not like theres a Huge talent pool for Elite at this weight class so who really would deserve the shot Diaz or Morango?? Or someone else? I cant think of anyone else with a legit reason to be #1 contender.
If Noons isnt fighting anyone, then he isnt ducking anyone
but if Noons fights anyone but Diaz or Morango in his next fight I
might have to say he is...
