Barnett Test Comes Back Negative, Nastula Fight Is On

The medical tests required for Josh Barnett to compete under a Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) sanctioned fight have come in, and the news is good.

Barnett, who was required to supply a clean drug test due to his failing his last drug test in his last fight under NSAC regulations, got his results today and the test came back negative.

This officially clears Josh Barnett to compete this Saturday night at the Dreamstage Entertainment (DSE) debut show in the United States, PRIDE 32 "The Real Deal" against former Olympic gold medalist and legend in Judo, Pawel Nastula.

how could they lose his piss sample two or three times. dana white was on the nevada state commission association once and maybe he is giving pride the hardest time possible. what's he so scared about. ufc and pride are both big as seperate organizations. they survived!

maybe? Dana is scared to absolute sh*t of Pride!!! If he was granted a wish by a Genie, it would be to eliminate Pride from existence.

How come everything something bad happens to PRIDE or one of their fighters Dana White is blamed? lol.

You know I am a great supporter of Pride, but seriously at this point Pride may be a threat in a couple of years in N. America but at the same time the UFC will be growing as well. You cannot have a product w/out some competition, to grow against. I dont think Dana is so much afraid of Pride, as wants to make sure any transactions they hold give UFC the most benifit. And of course Dana is going to promote his fighters, they are his fighters.

Why can't they just get along and look out for the fans? We just want to see them fight. We'll pay for it too. Maybe even more than $40!

No shit huh....they both should be looking out for the other. Get together and figure out how to make it work best for both organizations. To much greed i'm sure.
