A number of sources are telling me that Tito Ortiz has finally signed with Affliction for their next PPV. We broke the news a couple of weeks ago and although that was just a rumour at the time, the signing now appears to be final.

I think this could just be old news posted on some shitty site as if it were new, but it's worth posting, if only to prove how shitty mmapreview.com is.
But if it is true that would mean that Affliction was able to get Tito to lower his asking price to something more doable for both parties, a number that many people will be interested in seeing.
If true, this is a landmark moment for Affliction as a fight promotion. They would have arguably the best fighter on the planet in Fedor and now one of the best PPV draws in Tito. Put them both on a card together and you have the makings of PPV revenue that could rival what the UFC pulls in on average per show. They could use Tito's marketability to introduce Fedor, and the handful other decent fighters they have to a larger number of people and hopefully gain a small foothold in the market. The fact that they only do a show every 3-4 months right now gives them the ability to make their cards much more top-heavy with their stars than the UFC can afford to while putting on shows every month.
The real question, though, besides whether or not this site is bullshitting, is whether Tito can draw without the UFC. If he can't do that, it will go a long way to show just how dominant the UFC is over the MMA landscape.

So the Affliction fighters are only "Decent" There HW division puts UFC's to shame so I wouldn't call them just decent.

Rizzo and Rothwell are good just as good as O'brian and Herring and afflictions top tier (as a whole so there is no confusion) Fedor Barnett and AA are better than the UFC's Nog, Zag and Werdum.(even though I like these guys better) So I think that makes them better than decent. They are GOOD fighters IMO.
