I am curious to know if Monson is staying with affliction as well. I hope he does. Being a free agent all the time is hurting him IMO. He needs to stick with an organization. I would like to see him In UFC again. On second thought I think Affliction's HW division is better that the UFc's at this point.

Yeah they don't have Tim or Rothwell. Those were loaned out to them.

Then UFC has a few up an comers that could be top 10 soon. Lesnar, Cain, an Carwin.

UFC division isn't crap, it just doesn't have as many established top fighters. But within a year that could easily change.

Cain, Carwin, Gabe, Lesnar could all become top 10 then that would give UFC 2-6 top 10 fighters.

Also what makes Affliction better, sure they have Fedor, Barnett an AA. So that means anyone that signs will never be champion because those guys are top of the food chain. So you signed with them to get beat up lol.

I agree with MBC...Jeff needs to sign somwhere and stay put, and IMHO he would be a good addition to Affliction's roster. But part of me would like to see him sign with EliteXC just so he could get a shot at a match with "Kimbo Slice"...lol

As forTito...I believe nothing of what I hear and only about half of what I see about him lately. So I'll believe it when I see it - officially.

Because lately - no offense to any Ortiz fans here - but IMHO the best way to tell if Tito is slinging BS is to check to see if his mouth is open and his lips are moving...lol

Assuming that this news is true, this is the most important point in this entire story.

Tito isn't exactly an elite level fighter like a Barnett or Fedor. He was brought in for one reason - to sell cards and put Affliction over. If the Affliction marketing machine cannot sell a Tito card huge on PPV, it'll all be for naught. And the coin that I assume they are still going to be paying Tito will have not been worth it.

If they can pick up a fighter like Tito Ortiz and still not turn a profit on a card featuring him, they are in serious trouble for the long haul.
