An what makes it worse is they just signed Marcus Aurelio an he makes some where around 35/35 a fight. I mean he made 40,000 losing to Tyson.

So i really doubt they only offered him that. Also seeing Marcus lost his last 2 fights before coming into UFC.

We clearly will never know what fighters actually make so it seems naive to make an argument against a person based on some figures we read on a blog somewhere.

I don't think the numbers PRIDE may have provided the athletic commissions with should be taken as the gospel truth as Dana himself often talks about the off the books money fighters realistically make, and well PRIDE wasn't exactly known for it's impeccable honesty when it came to business practices, I'm sure he was taken care of.

Well seeing they were hurting for money, an the last pride card he fought on was full of names, i really didn't see him getting anymore then 15,000.

Lets just for a second say thats all he made for his last pride fight, well i don't believe the half part for a second. Also Hansen wasn't one of prides top superstars so thinking he got a bunch of extra money imo would be a little odd.

But i believe he did say less then half.

Like i said before it might have nothing to do with money.

But Hansen does sound like a little girl with his little rants about getting kicked in the balls.

Be kind of funny if he gets kicked in the balls in his next fight. I would laugh.

I think you are wrong on most of your points here. Since he didn't say he was afraid, then it not my reading comprehension that is in question. I was reading between the lines. Even if his contract with the UFC started crappy, he could win and make a lot more. Or he could do a Crocop and run back to Japan.
