I'm honestly sick of your biased posting here, it's annoying as fuck. You contribute nothing to this forum at all.

Arlovski and Vera (Monson possibly), AA would do well in Pride and Vera is going to be the future in UFC and within 3 years he would be one of the best fighters in Pride IMO.
And you forgot Fabricio (I don't know how but you did)

Well you forgot about Igor, he dropped to LHW as well and I would not put Vitor in there, that hurts your credibility if anything.
Also Rashad Evans is amoung the best of the 205 LHW division in UFC and he is deserving of such, he would beat some of the pride names on your list including Nak, Vitor and Overeem IMO.

Busta, Misake, Chonanm if you are going to use them you should use some UFC guys like Swick the Crow and Marquart.

Jenz Pulver fo the UFC as well as BJ Penn if he dropps down and those are 2 top level fighters in LHW in ANY org.
While I agree that Pride does in fact have the better fighters your breakdown of them was very baised, you are not giving many UFC fighters credit and they have some great fighters.
I think Pride has the better division in every category but it is not a landslide everywhere, but pretty much everywhere with the exception of MW.

Pride and UFC have a fairly even talent level at the top, just Pride has done more international recruiting, so they have a few more fighters at the top then the UFC does.
i honestly have no preference, and hate this biased posting bullshit. if Pride is better, its not the fighters. every fighter in these two orgs is world class, and would do well in either org.
if Pride is better, its the ring, and the rules

When I first saw the title of this thread, it made me think 2 things.
1. Oh God, here we go again. This has been discussed 866703589363 times here before
2. Dammit...what a completely biased statement
Why is it then, when I clicked on the link under hot discussion, I for some reason had this huge hunch that Supreme would be the author of this thread? Your bias does nothing for you here...it certainly doesn't help your reputation as a credible poster here. Although the general concensus here among the posters is that Pride is the better organization, 99% of people will give deserved credit to the UFC. Let's not overlook their talent pool which consists of some of the best fighters in the world.
LW: Sean Sherk, Kenny Florian, Melvin Guillard, Mark Homnick, Joe Stevenson, Joe and Dan Lauzon, Jens Pulver, Yves Edwards (might be a free agent now), Spencer Fisher ....That's just off the top of my head. The LW division is STACKED
WW: Matt Hughes, GSP, BJ Penn, Karo Parisyan, Diego Sanchez, Nick Diaz, Josh Neer, Josh Burkman, John Fitch, Josh Koscheck, Drew Fickett
MW: Rich Franklin, Anderson Silva, Mike Swick, Nathan Marquardt, David Louiseau, Evan Tanner, Dean Lister
LHW: Chuck Liddell, Forrest Griffin, Michael Bisping, Rashad Evans, Tito Ortiz, Babalu
HW: Tim Sylvia (say what you want about him, the dude is pretty f'n good), Jeff Monson, Brandon Vera, Andrei Arlovski, Frank Mir (when he's in shape lol), and Chieck Kongo. I mentioned Kongo because although Carmelo Marrero was relatively unknown when he beat him, he was a division 1 wrestler, and anyone can be laid on for 15 minutes. He was simply out-powered, because as you have heard a thousand times from the MMA announcers, some people just aren't ready for the kind of power such an elite wrestler brings to the table.

Agreed but Kongo honestly does suck. It was all hype, the UFC was running out of fighters for Sylvia and had Kongo said "yes" when Rogan asked him if he was ready for Sylvia after his victory over a fellow "can" Kongo replied "I want to fight Frank Mir" as Frank Mir fought Dan Christianson that night and was fat, out of shape, and gassed after the first 3 minutes of the fight and almost lost.
Had Kongo said "yes I want Sylvia" there is a very good chance that would've been the fight instead of Monson.
I know it sounds messed up but that still would've likely been the matchup as UFC really did deny Monson the title shot for a very long time as they know the noobie fans would rather watch Sylvia a striker fight Kongo a striker as well.

First Time I watched UCF I was thirteen I fell in love with it, but then the years gone bye and it was basically was banned up here in Canada and it was hard to get bootleg video’s and I know it was banned in most states.
Now jump in the new century I started watching Pride and UFC regularly I thought UFC and the cage format was better, maybe I based that because when I first started watching MMA it was in a cage and thought that it was just supposed to be that way.
But now I prefer the Pride rules no elbows and allow kicks and knees to an ground opponent.
Also I prefer the ring now.
I can now say that the best competition is in Pride by far anyone can see that if the watch Pride’s full events, not just small clips or reading about the results on a webpage.
Don’t listen to spoilers watch the full events from beginning to the end and then you have to agree.

They're both good, they're both MMA. Both organization feed fighters off of one another- Example: Belfort, Henderson, Newton, Liddel, Shamrock, Frye, Barnett, Ricco, Anderson Silva, Phil Baroni, Mark Kerr and the list goes on forever. This shit should be UNITED because it is all MMA in the end. I could understand if this was about Pride vs UFC(like two teams in the IFL) but it is just bickering about the two organizations. If you truely like MMA you can respect any event - any venue because they each provide for one another.
