Yeah true. I think a factor in how the fight turned out for Franklin was Silva's tendency to get pissed when he gets hit. Franklin hit him with something, then Silva got mad not hurt and started the clinch thing. If you watch Silva's fight with Okami, Okami landed some pretty good shots from the guard, and Silva got mad and knocked Okami senseless with a sick but illegal kick from the ground. After the ref pulled them away to stop the fight, he had to prevent Silva from beating on Okami; Silva was pretty pissed about getting hit.

can talk that shit anyways you want but I think even Siva would say leben has a better chace then Franilin. Don't get it twisted I don't think either stands a chance but at least Leben has got a solid jaw.

Well I'm saying Silva can focus his anger and that's a good attribute for him as a fighter. I knew when I saw him knock out Leben, the guy with a fire hydrant for a chin, that he'd be very tough for Franklin. I agree I think Leben does have a better chin than Franklin, Leben never got wobbled leading up to the Silva fight, and he's got hit by heavy-handed guys like Doerksen, Cote, Rivera. Franklin's conditioning is good enough so that he has a good recovery time, as we saw against Tanner and Loiseau when he got dropped, but it's hard to bounce back in a fight from repeated knees to the body, especially ones thrown by Silva.

I'm pretty sure in the Leben fight, it only took a total of like...9 strikes to drop him. 2 of the shots that rocked him were jabs. Franklin took some jabs in this fight and never looked hurt. He took a total of I think 26 knees....and 5 or 6 of those were to the face. He went down after this, but all it took for Leben was 1. The beginning of the end for Rich (besides the clinch itself) was when he took that devastating knee to the face that broke his nose, which would have knocked a normal guy unconscious. Period.

Also, in the fight with Rich, Anderson actually got hit a couple times. Leben never landed a single shot. I don't even remember him throwing one. I personally believe Rich has tons of k.o. power and if he fought Leben, Chris would get knocked out. However, we will go with your logic for just a second, and IF Leben has more k.o. power, it's kind of useless when you don't get a chance to use it....when you are knocked dead by Anderson Silva before you even get a chance to throw a single punch.

Leben did in fact throw a few punches, they connected with air (around 2 feet from their intended target) as Silva sidestepped them and danced on him.

Silva did not land a single punch in the Franklin fight, he landed knees and kicks (maybe 1 punch being the one Goldberg was screaming about but I could not see it connecting even on the reply so I think Goldberg was wrong). If Silva hit Franklin with the shots he hit Leben with, Franklin would've buckled as well and even more so.

Franklin is not known for his chin, in fact quite the oposite while Leben is known for having a granite chin.

They way yuor talking is liek leben hasn't fought silva yet....as far as performances go I give that one to franklin...as far as performances go...that one goes to franklin as well....who lasted longer franklin.....who took more shots..franklin....

franklin would destroy leben. he knocked out quarry and handled him so easily. i expected a better than what quarry gave. lol. plus, leben is just a slugger with good wrestling. he is real tense in his fights, he doesn't look as relaxed as silva, franklin, or swick for that matter. put someone good against leben and he's done in under a minute. hehe

Franklin has a better chance of win against Silva than Leben for sure.

In any case, I wanna see Leben come back into mix at the top. He's a decent fighter and has a fun personality. I love watching replays of those guys talking smack before the fight in front of camera, after watching one of them get their asses whooped.

Leben may get beat but one thing for sure is that it will be exciting.
