Matt Serra at LW

Should Matt Serra drop to LW after he either loses in the championship of TUF or gets beat by whoever the champ is at the time? IMO he would be a great champ and could beat anyone they have currently at the weight. Also what about Din Thomas, he just lost on the show, is the LW division where he will be in the near future?

I think he should drop down if he can. He won't ever beat Sherk, but he has a better chance of being a contender in the LW division.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wins the show and decides to take the LW title fight instead of WW. There's already a pecking order for the WW title already, and we as a whole really don't know who the #1 contender is at LW right now.

Serra is a great LW fighter.Of course he'll go back to LW after the show.

i think serra has fought as a lw before. but serra probably should drop to lw, i mean, hughes penn or gsp wouldn't lose to him. they are all too skilled. well hughes is just to strong and serra wouldnt knock him out cuz serra isn't a great boxer like hughes. hughes would be serra's best bet because hughes has shown a weakness to submissions. serra is amazing on the ground. he'd probably beat melv. guillard if he took him down.
