Will Franklin Get a Rematch?

If the champ losses his belt doesn't he usually get a rematch? I know that Tito didn't when he lost his belt but doesn't this happen most of the time?

sometimes they have to prove themselves again randy did syliva did plus rich did recieve a beatdown

i dont think so, im not 100% but when randy lost he fought someone else. When tito lost he had to fight chuck but he lost that so thats why he didnt get his rematch. When AA beat tim, tim had to fight someone else before they fought again, but im sure it has happened before but i cant think of anything but again dont take my word on it

i meant they had to rebuild their reps and fight back to contention not that they got immediate rematches sorry should have been clearer on that

I think Franklin will get a rematch. But if I were him, I'd want to fight a few guy first to shake off the rust and get some confidence back.

I don't think any fighter gets a rematch clause just because they were holding the championship. But when the division is really lacking in top tier fighters, a rematch is pretty much a given.

i think it depends on how many contenders. tito didn't get an immediate rematch because he lost to randy and then to chuck and randy was doing his own thing with vitor, but AA got the immediate rematch because there really wasn't any clear cut contenders and also i'm pretty sure UFC hates tim as champ. i'm sure franklin will get a rematch, but i doubt it'll be immediate since swick and the TUF 4 winner are both up for shots.

randy fought van arsedale then chuck again...and no i dont think he deserves an immediate rematch after a beatdown like that

Someone correct me if i'm wrong but Tito kept putting off a fight with Chuck. So the UFC created another LHW belt, which Randy beat Chuck to get. And then Randy beat Tito (unify the belts), Tito and Chuck fought (determine number 1 contender) and Tito lost, and then Randy then lost to Chuck (clear as mud?

)

He wont get a rematch first thing back, He'll have to fight at least two fights first.

it didnt even seem like rich was hungry enough for it. i giv silva his credit. but he shuldnt hav beat franklin that fast
