People just need to face the facts, Matt beat bj, yes he was injured, but the injury occured during the fight. Thats a part of fighting, people get injured. yes penn won the first 2 rounds with ease but to say he didnt win because bj was realy injured tough shit people, i could see if he had the broken ribs or whatever before the fight but he didnt. it happen in the fight matt took advantage of it and won.

Ninja is looking pretty doughy in that photo, I think Shogun is just a much harder worker with a lot more drive, I think their natural gifts are relatively equal, it is just work ethics that sepperate them so much as fighters.

That could have been the brief stint of Ninja at HW, but back to the thread. When I think of Matt Hughes, I could never count him out. However when it comes to Penn until he seperated his ribs he was destroying Hughes anyone who watched the fight w/out bias either way would have to agree. In their previous fight Penn put Matt to sleep. I would have to say Penn ability to nuetralize the classic wrestler, w/ a ridiculous one legged sprawl
was awesome. However Hughes won, the bottom line. Hughes fought GSP and was able to counter the Kimura from guard w/ a step over arm bar. This time I would say I favor GSP, but who really knows
