I really could care less about who wins or if this fight happens or if either one of these guys stay in the game or retire. I have no interest in the least with this fight.

I think it'll be great IF it happens. I'd love to watch hughes destroy the lucky bastard Serra

I love this statement. It is so true I use to love to watch just to see if some day he would get his ass kicked. Then along came BJ and then there went BJ to chase Bang. So Hughes took it again and rode with it again and finally GSP got it. He has been fun to watch and I truly do respect the man. But he is my favorite fighter to root for to lose. Well actually now it is Diego but he was my favorite.

i've always been a huge hughes fan, but i'll admit the guy's a douche. that being said, serra is a whole stack of douches. i hope hughes destroys him, and then retires.
hughes as of late just hasn't been himself. i guess he's earned a break with everything he's done for the sport and accomplishing a stellar record though. i actually had him winning the alves fight, but he just didn't show up. ever since losing to BJ he's fought like a pussy, and his heart just isn't in it anymore. it's good that he's planning to retire, and not shamrocking it up for another ten years.
hughes by g'n'p round 2, after nearly finishing serra in round 1

Hughes was my favorite fighter when I first got into MMA, he's basically the reason I kept watching.
Now, I think he is a complete dink.
Except, I will give him props for his ability to lose graciously (At least to GSP when he was annihilated the second time).
It will be interesting to see how he reacts if he were to lose to Serra, though I don't think he will.

If and when this happens ArmnHC me and you are sig betting the shit out of this fight. lol.
Hughes was my favorite favorite from the start, and he's still one of my favorites despite the recent embarassments. He has a personality that rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but I would be remiss if I didn't admit that I have been friends with people like him in my 12 years of playing football. Some people are just wired different.
I fucking hate Serra though, haah. And I'm Italian so you think he'd be my boy but I just can't stand his annoying ass.

All Serra has to do to beat Hughes is train takedown d for months on end. He's got more than enough power for the KO.
