at ufc 65 if matt beat hughes what happens then because we all know he will beat the shit out of the tuf winner then what does he move up in class or what because once he beats or if he beats gsp that pretty much closes the book on his fights because he has beat everyone, plus i dont see penn hughes happening for a long time if ever, penn does not deserve another shot until he wins atleast 2 to 3 fights in a row

You gotta think man, he easily has 3 more bouts IF he beats GSP and the TUF4 winner. He's got Nick Diaz, Karo the Heat, and Diego Sanchez. Thats another years worth. Quite honestly, without turning this into a debate. I've watched every single Matt Hughes fight, and I'll say it again. Even though he lost to Diego Sanchez, Karo P, I truly feel, can beat Matt Hughes, he's great submission, amazing takedowns, and great striking, he just had a bad fight with Sanchez. But honestly, Hughes is gonna have it rough.

Yeah it does sound like if he gets past gsp his plate will be full. The tuf winner won't be an issue for matt, should get past with ease. Deigo i dont see giving him that much trouble same goes for nick. But i do have to agree with you about Karo he is a great fighter but i still give it to matt. The real test is if he can make it past gsp. If that happens and then fights all of the other guys, Matt will be a true fighting champion.

Yeah Hughes has his next year pretty much planned out.

I think Diego has a good chance of worrying Hughes tbh. I mean hes beaten Diaz and Karo and the fight may very well come down to the first takedown of each round wins the fight.

Karo is great and I think a lot of his success is due to the unconventional aspect of his grappling, there are very few people who can use Judo so well without the aid of clothing to grab onto. However he had weak performances vs Sanchez and had trouble with Serra, he'd need to kick it up a gear or two for Hughes.
