Something WAS going on with Franklin *pics*

Be honest, have you ever seen a fighter look into another fighter's eyes like this while he was getting beat?

It looks like "Hey man, take it easy" or "This isn't what we talked about backstage" or something.

These pics coupled with a few of the "Rich was crying before the fight" and "Rich's wife was hystyrical before the fight" and "Rich was acting funny" threads influenced me to create this thread.

I'm NOT saying Rich took a dive. I'm only saying These pictures make me suspicious.

I could be wrong, and I hope I am.

lol at those pictures being anything suspicious.

You could go through any fight frame by frame and get stills like that.

If rich took a dive,then he took a really bad one..

well shit. the other threads on this hadn't really made me want to get involved in this conversation, but these pics do look a little strange. im going to have to back and look at footage from franklins previous fights to see how he is when he is walking in. from what i remeber he isnt ever really animated. and i dont remember seeing him crying. but they definently didnt show him backstage liek they usually do show the main event fighters. i dont want to believe he wasn't 100%. but since i don't think anyone else is really ready to fight anderson silva, then to settle all questions maybe they should fight again as soon as rich is ready. i think he should go train his stand up with bas rutton or some one that really knows some muay thai. to me it just seemed like he was nervous coming in. i think he knew this was going to be his toughest fight. and if he knew it im sure his wife knew it. i hope we find out if something was really going on. and i hope from all this internet buzz if there really wasn't a problem with him they don't use it as an excuse now.

What? LMAO Yeah and I'm sure Chris Leban took a dive too huh? Yeah, he seems like the type. Get outta here. The kat was rocked like he's never been rocked before.

Silva destroyed his ribs and abdominal area. The reason for the "looks" is because he couldn't breathe and was wondering what the hell was going on. After Silva threw him up against the fence and saw that Ace wasn't taking in effective breaths, he went in for the kill. NOBODY has ever taken it big Rich like that before and he probably looked pass Silva. Big mistake. I'm from Houston and I love Swick, but it sucks to be him.

Yeah it was some weird expressions but I just think it was the look of a man who was taking extremely hard blows to the midsection. Rich had the look like he had just been stabbed and he was staring at his attacker for mercy. I'm sure thats all it was, that shit hurts BAD and you could tell by the look in Franklins eyes that it was over. When the clinch was let go he was so frickin wore down and hurt it didnt take much for A Silva to capitalize and then break franklins nose. Was interesting that Franklin thought the clinch woudl be his sweet spot. I actually thought Frank would take this bout and most did as well but I have a whole new respect for A Silva now. He looked incredible and you can tell how bad he wanted that victory.

oh and btw, i've mentioned this in a few other threads but franklin got caight in the liver with three hard knees. his face is the expression most guys have after getting hit there. it's a shocked look, because you alomost feel parallized with pain and it really surprises you. bas is a big fan of the liver shot. check out frank shamrocks reaction to this blow.

LOL. This is a joke. He looks like that because that AFTER the first knee to the chin! The guy was in La La land and was on his way out. I am tired of hearing the excuses about what was wrong with him. That is all it ever is. Excuses. He got beat by the superior fighter that night. Period. If Rich trains and adjusts his gameplan, maybe he will do better and put himself in a better position to win. But I don't see that happening. Franklin has fought a bunch of cans since he got the title. He finally faced an elite level fighter and got burried. I don't dislike Franklin, I am not a Franklin hater. But I am start to hate his fans that give him more excuses than Silva gave him knees.
