My idea for WAMMA titles

This might ound crazy but at first I didnt like the WAMMA title idea but now I guess to have an "undispute champ outside the UFC could be good. I think every org. should have its own champs then maybe once a year at the end of the year they have a Super fight night pitting champs from different orgs. for the "undisputed" WAMMA titles. I could see this working if WAMMA could get either Dream or Elite to participate because we know Affliction and Addrenalie are on board. Think about it, I havent figured a way mybe off rankngs to choose who fought in the super fight but think of fights like Strikeforce champ Josh Thompson vs Dream champ Hellboy for WAMMA lw title. What do you guys think? What would some other WAMMA titles fights be? I think its a good idea so if a champ loses he doesnt lose the orgs. belt just the chance to also carry the WAMMA title for a year. Be easy on me

Here's the problem with the WAMMA titles - which org gets to host the fight for these titles? Affliction, Adrenaline, Strikeforce, Dream, Uncle Bob's Fighting League? Also who decides who fights for these titles? How does one enter their fighter for contention? I am sure there are some fighters in smaller orgs with decent records but just never made it to a bigger org for whatever reason, but are champ of theirs. While I like the idea of a "unified title" I don't see it working very well.

Sounds good, but who wants to see their champ losing to another org's champ? I don't see it benefiting the loser in the least, perhaps even harming them.

from what ive understood, the WAMMA title basically is a sanctioning body similar to the WBC, and IBF. So the belt is basically only defendable if WAMMA sanctions this fight. Say if Nogueira were to win the WAMMA belt in the UFC, and he keeps it IN the UFC, then WAMMA would no longer sanction those bouts as the true #1 contender could not compete for it without signing an agreement with the UFC, and the belt will be stripped eventually and up for grabs. Unlike boxing, i hope it just stays with the WAMMA, instead of a couple of sanctioning bodies and one or two main ones.

Its a good idea because each organization can have there respective champs, but the person with the WAMMA belt is undisputed. Another plus side to this is that it promotes cross-promotion. Who doesn't want there organization to hold the WAMMA belt?

No doubt that Fedor is #1, but WAMMA is lame and they've basically just decided themselves that somehow and of their own accord they will be the sanctioning body. Without an agreement from all or nearly all the major figures then they lack serious credibility, IMO, and they just seem to be hitching themselves to the already extant gravy train.

Yeah I don't agree with the WAMMA belt because lets face it, UFC won't care about that. Think about it, say Jay Herion fights on the next Affliction card for the WAMMA 170 belt and wins. Does that make him the "undisputed" WW of the world? No. Why? Because there are people like Fitch, Alves, and GSP who I think would all beat him. So thus WAMMA as someone else said, is shit.
