I dont think he is underrated as a fighter, He is just disliked on a more personal level that being he looks like a big gomer, he shit himself in the cage, he hangs out with matt hughes, he rides a little scooter, the list goes on and on. I'm not bashing I'm just giving reasons on why some fans dont like him. He will give us a better fight than Choi or lindland IMO. I'm actually starting to like Sylvia but its only out of pity. I kinda feel bad for the guy.

i haven't liked tim since the third arlovski fight, but he looked great in the nogueira fight and showed nothing but class afterwards. he really gets shit on a lot and its not really all that fair.

I don't think he is under-rated at all. Tim always poses a punchers chance at winning a fight based on his sheer body type. All of the Media outlets give him the praise he deserves as a former champion, the fans on the other hand....thats a different story. I personally can't stand Sylvia, but yet here I am a week away from the fight and I have him down to win. I am probably the only person besides Tim himself that thinks Fedor might have some trouble with him lol. He nearly had Nog...or well not nearly in terms that Nog is basically the undertaker of the UFC.. you knock him down he sits up from the dead and then kicks your ass. But he was certainly ahead on the cards anyways.
Sylvia is a joke...but he is no joke... he is a giant paradox...

Even if he was, there is no point in saying anything in public. Tims quite smart and must know there may be a chance that Affilication will fail, so its a good idea to leave the door open for a UFC return.

I beg to differ I think Affliction has the best HW's right now they have three of the top five and maybe one more if Randy Joins. WTF is with the writers bias?? |
