I was thinking about this the other day, like what are they gonna do when they get to 100? Are they just gonna keep calling them "UFC 101-so and so" or are they gonna adapt the 'X' from football and WWE and go "UFC X2" or like you said and just drop it all together and go with " UFC Leben/Bisping" for example? I dunno, all i know is its a damn good time to be a MMA fan

I don't think they'll drop the number. Atleast if they don't have it in the title, it'll still be numbered.

I've thought about this, the smartest thing on earth would be to have a HUGE un-beileveable NYE-style type card for UFC 100. but after that i think it'll get a little play out having to hear " a Hundred" in front every PPV.... for the next Hundred PPVS

Think about it.

"UFC A Hundred and Forty-Seven live from the Plams"
"UFC A hundred and Two, head-lined by Chuck Vs Shogun"
"UFC A Hundred and Seventeen to be aired on Spike TV"
"UFC A Hundred and Ninety-Nine live from the Madalay bay"

Lol its gonna suck hearing that for the next 8-10 years lol

Hopefully they just drop the number and stay with the names like "UFC Chuck Vs Shogun" or at the very least get some type of Roman Numeral going on "UFC XII Chuck Vs Shogun" type of deal, JMO

I thought roman numerals, but really it takes up the same amount of space as numbers anyways.

What I was trying to say is, they may drop the number from the title... but number it for personal knowledge.

Plus Dana can use it for braging rights. "We are on UFC 111 and these guys are just starting up!" You know Dana loves numbers.

The fact that you guys are debating what number a PPV has attached to it's name is ridiculous. Isn't there anything better to talk about than what number is assigned to a PPV?
