I'll be there for sure. I'm guessing it'll be machida on this card. I don't think the card will be all that impressive as all the major UFC stars are fighting from now til the september show

If Hughes heals up then Hughes v. Serra would make a lot of sense for this card.

Hopfully even with the injuries though this card is Rampage v. Griffin II.

That would be an outstanding card. I'm not a big fan of immediate rematches but with this being as controversial as it was, I think is warranted.

I don't think we will see Hughes again this year. That knee is pretty bad.

I think the fight that makes the most sense for Serra is Thiago Alves but since he's rumored to fight Diego Sanchez around that time, I don't see that happening.

To me the Serra-Alves fight makes the most sense for both guys. Alves the questionable number one contender that couldn't make weight and needs to prove he can make weight in big fights against Serra, the recently outsted champ who needs to prove he deserves the rubber match against GSP and to prove he's more than a mediocre TUF has been edition champ.

None of those 3 underlined fights should happen anytime soon and I'm betting Machida won't get a title shot before next year.

I'm drooling at the mouth over this i have been trying to talk my friends to road trip it to the twin cities because we have never seen a large scale event live.
For it to be coming right to my door step is a dream come true now the only thing that would make it better if wand is on the card.

hell to the YA! im stoked.. i would LOVE to the city and just get a hotel or something so i dont have to drive home.. its probably gonna be at the United Center which is not as good as the Allstate Arena for me cuz i live less than 20 mins away from AA.. but no matter UFC in Chicago is gonna b sick.. tickets sell out within minutes
