James Irvin interview; Vera comments on turning down Machida fight

I'm really interested in seeing the 4 dudes that didnt wanna fight Anderson.

Also fucking WAR Irvin. Dudes got a ton of heart,respect,and is ballsy as hell for taking this fight,on relatively short notice no less.

I might be one of the only ones on here,but I'm hoping for an Irvin win. Crazier things have happened. I think Irvins gonna come out with something that Silva handt been preparing for in the least(much like he did in his fights with Houston and Martin) and beat him.

I respect Irvin, but I sure as hell don't want Anderson to lose. One of the best representatives of the sport - Hope he tears shit up in usual Anderson fashion.

As for Vera, normally I'd hold it against a fighter, but damn...I agree with him. 4 weeks time, first time fighting at 205 - Don't blame'em.
