Rampage/Juanito words bit them in butt

Sorry if this had been done, and i couldn't think about a title.

Rampage went on a Rampage screaming about how his fight with Forrest won't make it to a decision and all other shit and he said he will give his entire check to Forrest if it does.

Juanito in a rant said if Forrest beat Rampage he would retire.

Now my question is, no matter how you look at it Forrest won and it went to the cards. So are those 2 going to keep their word or back pedal and pretend it never happen.

As soon as I heard that "I'll retire if Forrest beats Rampage" in the Countdown show, I knew I wanted Forrest to win the fight. That is just a blatant, in your face disrespect.

Forrest already had been disrespected enough by fans and even by Shogun, who apparently felt he could dispatch Forrest Griffin on a seriously bad wheel. He didn't deserve for Juanito "you make him fight you" Ibarra to blatantly disrespect him by saying he'd retire if Forrest won.

Given that he did disrespect him in that manner, the least he can do now is keep his word.

No joke man. There are NO guarantees in MMA, there's just way too many variables to be able to guarantee you'll beat someone. I understand trying to sell the fight but Juanito came off like a complete tool and it reflected bad on Rampage as well as it made him look like GSP did when he underestimated Serra.

Juanito is a fucking great trainer, one of the best in the business IMO, it would be a shame if he retired.

Man up? You're talking about a guy that said clear as day after the fight that he got his ass whooped and then within hours was saying he won the fight. I don't think either he or his pompous trainer will be manning up.

Rampage showed a lot of class after the fight in the cage but, like GSP with his disrespectful comments about Serra which leaked out later after the fact, in my eyes Rampage (and Ibarra) lost a lot of props.
