Forrest can beat anyone in the top 5 and he also can be beat by anyone in the top 5 so who knows. The one advantage he has now is that its 5 round fights and you know he isnt going to gas. Look at the Tito fight, if that is a 5 round fight he wins it.

I think that Forrest ( at this point in his career ) can beat few guys that are in UFC Top 10 - Rashad, Keith even Chuck if he sticks to proper game plan.

At the same time fights against Wandy and Machida can go either way ( Wandy vs. Forrest is going to be a slugfest and winner will be the guy that manages to survive longer ).

Unfortunately I don't think that Forrest would be able to do anything against Rampage and Shogun if he fought them again and Hendo would be able to impose his will.

But again what the hell do I know - I'm just a casual fan.

ps. with him improving all the time I have no doubts that he will be champ again.

I am a huge Forrest fan, and even i will admit he isn't the best guy at 205.

But the thing here is, Forrest has a chance to make a legacy that will be hard to beat.

what i mean is, if Forrest were to fight Chuck next and IF he won that would be fucking huge.

He would have beat Shogun, Rampage, Chuck all back to back and if he were to say by some chance beat Wandy too, no one could fuck with that. He could lose the rest of his fights, and still be the only guy to beat those top fighters.

He's already the only man in the world who's beaten both Shogun and Rampage. It's impossible to front on that. Jardine had a shot to be the only man to beat both Chuck and Wandy, but we know how that turned out.

Very tough to have wins over 2 top-5ers in the world, not to mention being 2-0 against them.

i really dont understand how you could still say that after last night. maybe you didnt hear the news, but forrest beat rampage after pretty much everyone thought he was going to get destroyed.

i wonder how big of an underdog forrest will be in his first title defense...
