Even Rampage said that Forrest beat him, not sure what the controversy is? With respect to the 1st round, you could definitely argue that forest won that round, besides the one punch that not him down, Rampage did nothing. Forrest was winning the first 1/2 of the round and completely stuffed and GNP in the 2nd half. It is too bad that they make the 10-9 system mandatory, many of the rounds you could argue were a draw. If you look at the fight overall, Forrest definitely won.

Maybe in the ring, but check the videos on ufc.com he says he won the first, gave him the 2nd cause his leg was hurting. He said he won the 3rd and 4th and that forrest won most of the last round.
I honestly think, Rampage overlooked Forrest, it was a good fight. Forrest came in with a good gameplan and executed it. Though it was a very close decision, I could of seen it going either way.

No, didn't see it, I will have to watch it. Funny how quickly he changes his opinion of the outcome, I gained a bit of respect of Rampage last night from seeing how he handled the loss in the ring until I heard this.

After the fight, prior to the press conference, Rampage's corner was telling him multiple times that he won the fight. Of course they want him to think that he was robbed, because, IMO, his corner should bear a lot of the responsibility for why he lost that fight. They did not prepare him well enough to win.

I don't know how the judges gave Round 1 to Forrest. Also I really don't think Round 2 was a 10-8, a 10-8 IMO is when you almost finish the guy...and he wasn't even hurting Rampage except for the kick.
I thought you had to beat the champ decisively to take the belt?
If that would have not been one of TUF guys I think Rampage would still have the belt.

Im with you. How fitting for the Cinderella story of "Off Rory Singer's couch onto TUF. Fast forward to the groundbreaking finale v. Stephan Bonnar all the way to the title." Its the fairy tale ending that the UFC wanted. No way, and I mean no f*cking way does Forrest win 4 rounds. He admittedly did mad damage to Rampage in round 2 but did absolute sh*t with it. He couldnt finish Jackson, would very rarely engage Jackson and when he did, he got rocked. Dont sit there and give a round to Griffin cuz he went for 2 submissions, but dont give credit to Jackson for slicing Griffin open. Someone earlier said something about quality v. quanity. Who gives a sh*t if Griffin throws X amount of more punches than Jackson? Everytime Griffin engaged Jackson with a flurry of puches, Griffin got popped. The leg kicks were a great gameplan, but even Griffin said he went to the well too often. And I also agree....10-8? Puhleeze. These things I know...Griffin wont make 1 successful title defense and Rampage will get the belt back.

Only reason they told him he won is because that big mouth fuck Juanito said if Forrest beat Rampage he would retire.

imo, in the last few rounds griffin didnt really do much but throw more than rampage... and connected with not much at all..
his leg kicks i can understand but there weren't that many in the last few rounds.
Rd 2 wouldnt be a 10-8 round because he didn't do much damage to rampage once he got him down..
now Kos vs Lyttle for example.. when Kos had him against the cage pounding him out for almost an entire round... THAT would be a 10-8 round... cause he mauled him and had him leaking all over the mat..
not a mount and then a bunch of failed americana attempts
for me it was
rd1 Jackson
rd2 Griffin
rd3 Jackson
rd4 Jackson
rd5 Griffin

I think the 1st and 3rd rounds were Rampages rounds.. I think there was a lot of bias in giving Griffin the 3rd round based on the triangle.. the triangle wasnt on long enough and he got slammed.. and Rampage had top position.. I def give Griffin the 2nd round 10-8 but I dont give Griffin the 4th round.. and honestly I thought no one really won the 5th round.. based on that..
I scored it 47-47 as a draw.. but to me that was best case scenario I did NOT see how Griffin won the fight.. just my opinion but I dont think he won.. my scoring is a draw and that is being graceful with me giving him the 5th round.. I gave Rampage the 1st, 3rd and 4th round.

I think Forrest won the 5th round.
I actually thought that the fight had a good chance of being scored like this.
But IMO, you can argue for the draw and argue that Forrest one, but there IMO is no compelling argument that Rampage won the fight.
