I disagree, I thought Cote and Rampage won...but to each his own. I'm not upset about it because if you want to win as a fighter and it be 100%, you need to finish the fight.

Honestly... I have no idea how some people think Rampage won. Like I said before, if your a rampage fan, you will think he won regardless. If your a Forrest fan, same applies. I consider myself neutral, neither of them are in my top 3 favorite fighters. Forest was the clear aggressor of the fight, and just seemed to do more. Shogun and Rampage were both supposed to plow through him, yet that never happened. Honestly, the champions now are probably the most liked and respected fighters in the UFC. Penn, Pierre, Silva, Griffin, and Big Nog.
I'm just glad that most (not all) of the people agree that it might have gone either way, instead of everyone saying "OMG WAMMPAGE WON!!!".

I'm not lying when I say that Fedor Emelianenko will be the next to fight Brock Lesnar. This is what I truly believe.

It was a close fight, no doubt, but I just think that people are crediting Forrest for his quanity over his quality of strikes. NO DOUBT that round 2 was Forrest's, but 10-8? Hell no. Like was already said, Forrest didnt even come close to finishing Rampage...not even close. IMO, alot of people are so attracted to the "fairy tale ending" of the TUFer becoming the champion. Its got a GSP/Serra 1 feel of the underdog winning.

No, 2 Judges had Bisping 29-28, 1 judge had Hamill 30-27.
the UK judge had Matt win, the US judges had Bisping win.

I think Cote/Almeida should've gone the other way
IMO Forrest did win the fight, but not by the margin the judges thought

Actually it was one of the worse nights of judging. I can't believe you made a thread contrary.

I didn't agree with the Cote/Almeda decision. I had Almeda winning rounds 1 and 3... round 2 could have gone either way as well.

If Almeida wouldn't have gassed and ran away for half of his fight I think he would have handled cote pretty soundly.
