That's what I was thinking - you don't automatically win the round with a knock-down, do you? Or am I mistaken? I gave Rampage the round, but I've never heard that rule for MMA. I think if you knock someone down there is a good chance you will win the round, but it isn't a guarantee and the scoring doesn't stop at that point.

Forrest also won because the UFC told Rampage that there were special rules and he wasn't allowed to check the leg kicks. The rules were set up in Forrest's favor.

Forrest won and deserves to be the champ.
I never said the Judges were biased, thats not what this thread is about.
This thread is about the what I see/hear as bias commentating last night.
It also has nothing to do do with Rampage losing, he lost cause he didn't try switching lead legs, not attack and getting inside when Forrest did throw those low leg kicks.
I agree Rampage seemed lethargic, did you see the interview he did with ESPN a day earlier, he said he was dead tired and couldn't even do his trademark howl said he didn't have enough energy.

I thought the round could of gone either way but I gave it to Rampage. I just dont think its ridiculous to give it to Griffin. My Scoring was.
Round 1- Rampage 10-9
Round 2- Griffin 10-8
Round 3- Griffin 10-9
Round 4- Rampage 10-9 (hardest round to judge)
Round 5- Griffin 10-9
Totals- Forrest Griffin def. Rampage (48-46)

I had it (48-47)

I didn't see that - that sucks. I thought if anything Forrest would have over-trained and he would have come up short in terms of energy, stamina, and intensity. I didn't expect Rampage to be a step slow like he seemed to be. I think Rampage still had the cardio, I just think his energy level and explosiveness were depleted.

they called it like i saw it, griffin scoring more points, but jackson could have ended it at anytime, they said it was really close, the board seems to be pretty close to split on who they think won, the fight was a really good one

joe is not the kinda guy to cheerlead for no reason. if he said forrest was winning, its because he honestly thought forrest was winning. and who cares that he said it? its not the like judges have a headset on listening to what rogan and goldie say, and base the judging on their comments.
goldie also disagreed with rogan.
