why all this re match crap it was a fight no excuses leg no leg.unless a title holder has an Anderson type rein as holder he should not get an immediate title shot again. especially now look at the depth in this division. i wanna see different fights

agreed! i think you could put this fight together 100 times and you would never know what to expect and it should be a decent draw- face it even if the last two meetings were one sided, the hardcore mma fan would line up to see it

If Rampage cant take the fight due to injury then it should be Lyoto Machada. If anyone else gets the title shot it would be BS.
I love Wandy too but you have to remember the guy is 1-3 in his last 4 fights.
Anderson Silva is the only person I'd be ok with giving a shot to.

I'd rather see Chuck/Wandi and Hendo/Rampage rematches before I see either of the faux-rubber threepeat matches.

I'd rather see a rematch between Shogun and Rampage.
By the way, Rampage never even got the pride title. It was called a unification title fight to build up champion vs champion but we know in reality it was just "lets get rid of the title"

we know rampage would want that fight and im a wandy fan i would love to see him smash page again. thats my only reason. does it make sence? prob. not but u can't say they aren't exciting and they don't like each other and like severn said two times wasnt enough. it would bring in alot of money. wandy is trying to get to the top while rapage IMO need a good win to get back up there. i don't think one of the two needs the belt to have another rematch.. its been awhile and jackson has gotten better and im sure hes game for it. i think it would be exciting.. i think wandy needs 1 more win no matter who its against then he and chuck should fight for a rematch i also liked the idea of wandy vs hendo rematch next

agreed. mach should be next in line. he truly deserves it, it's so difficult to go undefeated in todays mma game. imo he doesn't seem like a very marketable champion, but that's just me.

Wandy vs Machida. That is the greatest thing that I've heard all day. Its refreshing to see someone think that Wandy can fight someone other than Rampage. It would be a great fight, especially when its announced that winner gets title shot.
As for Rampage, it depends on how the UFC does this. Do they give an immediate rematch? Do they give him 1 fight before title shot or 2? It all depends on timeline so you can decide competition.

i don't think it should be 2 fights then a shot.. u know? bc it was close and i am a lil biased bc im a Forrest fan but 2 fight wouldn't be fair to page

It might not make sense but i'd still like to see Wandy vs. Page, or even Shogun. A rematch would be awesome too. Endless possibilities for great fights at 205.
