Rampage vs. Wanderlei for a title shot should be booked and confirmed right now. That would be a hell of a battle and the winner is deserving of the title shot.

Note: As much as I love Wanderlei as a fighter, he's not in the title picture after 1 victory over Jardine. He needs a win over a solid mid carder and then re-enters the elite caliber competition near the top. A match against Rampage for the number one contender spot makes absolutely no sense. You can't give out shots based on the past. If that was the case, Chuck and Tito would always be next in line.

yes nate would sub melvin quick and i agree about the cote thing.. tht would be dumb but when did Daddy and Sherk fight lol? but i agree with u that i don't think they should fight.. not yet tht is. i want joe to fight tyson griffin bc some people say hes overrated and some say he underrated so let him fight joe and see where hes at in the divison.. i don't think it would be a step down and i think joe would be him and be close for another shot at bj

Did I say that Joe and Sherk happened? I dont remember that, and don't bother proving that I did lol.  Wow that was a brain fart. I actually had the whole picture in my head. Now that I realize it didnt happen, it wouldn't be a bad match up, but like you said not yet.

Its tough for this card lots of different options and to be honest there are probably only 3 or 4 people on the card who's next fight will have any sort of significance: Forrest,Cote,Stevenson, Kos
Forrest- winner of Liddle-Evans (Chuck v Forrest easy to market; and a TUF v TUF for a world title also easy to market)
Cote- gets title shot in next fight (dana confirmed it last night)
Stevenson- Sherk would be interesting
Kos- Diego or Alves (winner gets next Title shot although if Fitch beats GSP that messing things up for KOS for a while)
Before Rampage fans go mental, unless they give him an immediate rematch (which i wouldnt mind seeing) he will need to fight 2 or 3 more times before he gets another shot. Not because he isnt worthy but more because of the state of the LWH division and some politics

Forrest- (they'll the dust settle before lining up someone for Forrest, probably 6-9 months off) But I think his next fight will be NYE versus the winner of T. Silva / L. Machida (also on the NYE show Chuck/Wand II & Rampage / Shogun)
Rampage - Rampage will be back very quickly and will likely fight Jardine
Cote- Okami (for the next title shot)
