Glad Gonzaga finally pulled through. Went to what he knows best and submitted a guy he was suppose to beat. I would love to see Kongo vs. Gonzaga.

Agreed - this would potentially be a pretty exciting fight. GG's leg kicks are powerful.

I am not impressed.

McCully is trash on the ground, he is horrible, If Hardonk new any bjj he would have broken McCullys arm.

Its cool that gabe did that to him but, it was against a guy with piss poor skills.

Gabe needs imo to be babied, if he is rushed again he will get killed.

Next for him should be Wellish or Sanchez.

Gabe is still to predictable with that kick

Gonzaga v Kongo would be cool, Kongo has 0 ground skills though so I could see it as a easy sub victory for Gabe.
But if both elected to stand it should be a good fight.

I think Gabe was doing some great work with his leg kicks against Werdum. It's too bad the rest of his striking/stand up hadn't matured at all by then. Least to say of his conditioning - His getting, "pounded out," there at the end by Fabricio was emberassing...He wasn't out, he was just plain fucking tired. Even worst than getting laid out, in my opinion...

And it's very true - McCully was a guy that Gonzaga was SUPPOSE to beat, in a dominant way. The only real good thing I take away from it is that Napao did come through, in the way he was suppose to. Some top tier guys just can't do that sometimes against cans. Glad to see Gabriel show some of the potential I'm hoping carries him further in his career...

Wouldn't mind seeing him eat Eddie Sanchez up too.
