Immediate Rematch? (RE: UFC 86)

So after last night there are alot of people on both sides of the fence for the Griffin/Jackson fight. I personally think there was a clear cut winner. But onto the topic on hand, after the press conference and on other sites, there is alot of mention that if Rampage is ready that is should receive an immediate rematch. I have always thought if you lose even a close fight, especially with such a stacked division, that you should still have to fight once or twice to get a rematch. I personally think we should see Rampage/Wandy 3 for a shot after Lyoto. Hows bout you?

Only way I think an immediate title shot should happen, is if the challenger wins by close decision. This case, I think the fight could have gone either way, so yes I think it deserves a rematch. It'd be great for all of the match-up possibilities, but definitely deserves a rematch.

Rampage should fight Wandy first. I think if/when Chuck gets past Rashad Evans it will be Forrest Vrs Chuck as the first defense. Lyoto will get the winner.

Yeah, I might be a little biased here in considering all the good fights we could see if Rampage had to work his way back up.

No way not right now.. Lyoto deserves the shot and i don't even like him and besides i will be against a rematch bc i want to c rampage vs Wandy 3 so bad then if rampage beats him (which i don't think will happen) he should fight Griffin Lyoto winner

I think this fight had a clear winner, i honestly don't see how anyone thought Rampage won. But if your a fan of Rampage, you see the fight differently than neutral people. He deserves a rematch, but not right away. Rampage should have to fight Wanderlei now.

I don't want an immediate rematch, though one will happen somewhere down the line, whether for the title or not.

Difficult to produce a really clear #1 contender for the title now. Some fight or fights between/among Wanderlei, Chuck, Lyoto, and Rampage need to occur.

Its funny that everybody thinks that Rampage has to fight Wandy automatically. If he won, then Wandy should also have a title shot and fight Rampage. Rampage is nowhere near my favourite fighter, but I still think it was a really close fight to call.

I think if Rampage's knee needs time to heal, and Forrest is fine, then Forrest should defend first. But if both are healthy than I think it deserves a rematch.
