Sam Stout vs. Paul Kelly at UFC 89

Sam Stout (13-4-1 MMA, 2-3 UFC) has agreed to meet Paul Kelly (9-3-1 MMA, 2-2 UFC) at UFC 89, an event that takes place Oct. 18 at The NIA Arena in Birmingham, England.

TKOXtreme.com first reported the bout on Saturday.

Taylor, an undefeated veteran of the British fight scene, will fight in his home country on a UFC card for the second time.

The Canadian Stout will look to push his UFC record to .500 with a win in October. He most recently suffered a close split-decision loss to Rich Clementi in April at the UFC's first-ever Canadian show. Stout, a veteran of the TKO organization, has also suffered UFC losses to Spencer Fisher and Kenny Florian and owns victories over Per Eklund and Fisher.

Taylor, meanwhile, will look to keep his undefeated streak alive. After posting a perfect 6-0 record with six stoppages (with five in the first round), Taylor debuted with the UFC at its January show in Newcastle, England. There, he defeated fellow Brit Paul Taylor via unanimous decision.

LOL. The fight is with Paul Kelly but the guy who wrote the article is refering to Paul Taylor. That editor needs to be fired. He called him undefeated but look at Kelly's record. Not even undefeated in the UFC, much less his career.

Paul Kelly is undefeated, and undefeated in the UFC.

I'm pretty sure that in this article he is talking about Paul Kelly, although you are right, it is definitely confusing.

I know Sam is young and is a pretty decent fighter but I just can't see him beating any top 155ers right now. As for Paul Kelly I think he is just an attraction for the UK fans. It will be an exciting fight though. Sam beats him up pretty bad in this fight
