Yeah i disagree with that. Even shows Forrest lands more strikes, and he has the sub attempts. Forrest landed 40 more strikes then Jackson. Like i said its a close fight but i still stick by what i say.
Jackson gets to much credit for the knock down and the cut. When Forrest imo doesn't get enough credit for what he did.

i know, that just bugs the heck out of me. how is someone going to say "TECHNICALLY" rampage won the fight? he got beat straight up. forrest deserved it and he busted his butt for it. with all that said tho, thats a pretty cool site.

Yeah i like Fight Metrics but i was looking at there other fights and no one that landed more strikes and had some sub attempts lost a fight.
So i don't see how they scored that for Rampage.
I mean call me crazy but if Forrest threw more then Rampage and landed more then rampage wouldn't that make him the more active one.

exactly, and if the fight did go the way fight metrics said, someone else would be wearing the belt tonight.

This is very interesting stuff, I hadn't seen this website before.
Dork maybe this is what you meant earlier, but with Fightmetric's own indicators seemingly all in Forrest's favor, I am pretty surprised that their final "judgment" on the fight - from a statistical perspective - is a 47-47 draw. Although it does go to support what we all know - that fight was a good exciting close fight.

how forrest wins every part of the fight and they have him losing seems strange, unless i'm missing something, if i were to look at those results and not seen the fight i would have thought forrest beat the shit out of rampage. i guess the one knock down swung it to him?

It shows forrest winning the grappling and striking so how did Rampage in that fight? I love Rampage but I think Forrest beat him in that fight. I thought that forrest did a great job at keping Jackson away with the leg kicks. Rampage had so great oppertunitys in the fight he just never could quite follow up. Forrest also did a great job of hit and move. His leg work looked pretty good.
