I gave forrest the 2nd 10-8, 3rd-but this round could have went either way, and the 5th.

I had a dead even draw as well. Rampage 3 rounds to 2, with Forrest getting the 10-8.
Forrest landed more shots but with nothing on them outside of the leg kicks in the 2nd. Everytime Rampage connected, he rocked Forrest. Forrest had the nasty cut on his eyelid, Rampage didn't have a scratch on him but a bruised leg.
It was a quality vs quantity fight and I had it dead even.

Dimson i respect you for being able to admit that rampage didnt win the fight, to many of his fans are in denal. im getting ready to watch the fight agian, im a big forest fan and so is my bro. he tends to judge fights a little better than i do.
with that said... i honestly thought the fight was over when rampage hit him with that upercut, but damn shows you how fast forest can recover. i saw the fight rampage winning 1,4 and forest winning the 2nd (possibly 10-8 but not real sure) and 3rd. i gave forest the 5th beacuse he seamed to throw/land more of his strikes and threw some good combos as where it seamed rampge was standing there looking for the KO.
im going to re watch the fight and see how many of those strikes actually landed, and what rampge actually did in the 5th, beacuse that is the deciding round in my opinion and my bro saw it the same way too. when i watch it this time ill do it from an unbiased opinion. ill keep you posted.
also dimson much respect, that fight could have easily been over in the first forest got lucky and survived. but it was a damn good fight either way even if rampge had wound up winning i would have repsected him as much as i dont like him. :-D

I would agree somewhat, except I said to the people at my house, "I don't get this, Rampage throws hard and it doesn't seem as though Forrest has the power to knock him out, why isn't Rampage just coming right in." I have a feeling Griffin's shots were hurting Paige because he was extremely reluctant to come inside most of the fight. Rampage did quite abit of backing up.
I think Forrest's shots hurt Rampage more than we assume.

IMO, I think Rampage took Forrest lightly. When Forrest started in with those leg kicks and they hurt him, I think he knew he was in for a fight.
I think Rampage's leg was hurt more than he was letting on to keep Forrest from taking him down again and that took a lot of his explosion away when it came time for Rampage to charge in.
I don't think Rampage wanted to expose that his knee was still hurt so he just stayed on the outside and landed when he could hoping to score points.
The positive thing for Rampage coming out of this is with all the debate over who won, and the 205 pound division being clogged with contenders and no clear cut number 1, Rampage is probably going to get his rematch sooner rather than later.
And I have to disagree with Rogan's assessment of Wanderlei-Rampage III. That fight is pointless unless Rampage is the champ and Wandy is the number one contender. Rampage doesn't deserve another shot at Wanderlei, it would be Wanderlei deserving a shot at the title being the only way the fight should happen. Same with Liddell-Rampage III. Why keep rehashing history. If you lose to the same guy twice, he's the better man in that matchup. Move on and let's see something fresh.

I'd like to see an immediate rematch, but a Rampage-Wandy III would be awesome too, IMO. I think Rampage has something to prove in that fight, and I'm not sure he wants to face another beating from Wandy.

I can see forest getting the 2nd, 3rd and 5th round... and Rampage getting the 4th and 1st... But the 1st could have gone either way.

Round 1: Rampage
Round 2: Forrest (10-8)
Round 3: Rampage (though an argument can be made for forrest)
Round 4: Rampage
Round 5: Forrest
I had it as a draw, but judges suck.
