Tyson Griffin can be an exciting fighter but honestly he gets a little too careles. Besides the early GNP, he was most in trouble when he was on the ground with Aurellio. He was clearly winning the standup. The smart gameplan would've been to use your wrestling to keep it on the feet... even though he didn't get submitted... you don't want to always fuck around in a BJJ fighter's guard. He keeps doing that. One day he's going to get his ass sub'd cuz of that.

I dont think it really matters with BJ in the mix @ 155 no one will beat him barring a bad cut.

Tyson Griffin is as good a fighter as anyone else in that division. If BJ moves out and vacates the title then it'll be a free for all amongst a rather large group of very talented fighters @ 155.

BJ said in his last interview that he wasn't vacating the title. He is waiting for GSP vs. Fitch and Florian vs. Huerta winners and quote "Watching them very extensively"

I don't think Tyson is a crap fighter, I just think that he hasn't been really going for the kill since he lost his only fight to Edgar, he hasn't really been going for the finish more than he just has been going for the win. Like a 155 pound Tim Sylvia. I want to see the man who TKO'd Urijah Faber.

He needs to go back down for that power to matter again IMO. The guys in LW are use to guys that hit harder than him.
