New LHW Ranking (Post UFC 86)
1. Forrest Griffin - With wins over the previous #1 LHW and current #1 LHW,both of whom were alos #10 P4P at the time, forrest has proved he is the #1, he has secured this spot as well as the UFC LHW belt with his win tonight.
2. Lyoto Machida - Lyoto Machida jumps a spot due to Quintons loss. He attained this spot also by defeating Sokodjou, Tito, and Kaz.
3. Quinton Jackson - Despite losing to Forrest Griffin, Rampage has been on a tear winning i believe his last 6-7 fights (sherdogs flooded cant make it to fight finder LOL), the loss to forrest however, bumps him down 2 spots to #3
4. Mauricio Rua - Shogun has been on a long lay off of about 8-9 months, but despite the inactivty and losing to forrest, he still was the # before he foguth forrest and is a 205 tourney champ.
5. Chuck Liddel - Chuck raises his stock after rampages loss in my eyes, he is obviosuly set on getting a title shot, and i expect him to blow past rashad, but until then he stays at number five for going 1-2 in his last 3 fights.
6. Wanderlei Silva - Call it favoritism, but beating a Jardine coming off the biggest win of his life, makes me beleive the old wand is back. His explosive striking and ability to end a fight at any moment make him #6
7. Thierry Sokodjou - Having won 2 of the biggest fights of his career, soko sunk into relative obscurity after his loss to Machida. Retaliating and knocking out Kaz in his last fight brings him back to the rankings. Look for a possible fight with #4 Shogun in the future.
8. Keith Jardine - Going 1-2 in his last three doesnt seem like a good enough record to keep Jardine in the top 10 but the fact that he grinded out a hard foguht decision with Liddell does. When hes able to deal with pressure, jardines awkward striking and strong leg kicks can confuse the best of fighters.
9. Rashad Evans - Currently undeafeated Rashad Evans sits at the bottom of the top 10 with an oppurtunity to rise if he beats liddell at ufc 88.
10. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira - Some people believe Thiago Silva should hold this spot, but Thiago hasnt beaten anybody noticable at 205 other than Houston Alexander, who was an overhyped fighter. Despite winning his last fight, thiago got rocked pretty bad and i think its only short time till someone Ko's him. Rogerio on the other hand, has beat some of the best in the game including Henderson and Overeem, and look for him to continue to stay active, a step up in the level of competition hes fighting will raise his stock.

Rampage goes down two spots because he lost a close decision to Forrest?
I guess I can can agree with giving Forrest #1 because he beat two #1's back to back but Rampage is right underneath him then

Quinton clearly deserves the #2 spot. He did not take an ass kicking... he was #1 and lost a close decision. Also, rankings are not based on who people think may win... it's based on what you have actually done.
Also, Lyoto doesn't deserve to be that high nonetheless. Shogun's case is nearly similar to Jackson's. He lost one fight fight and doesn't deserve to go down that much from a previous #1.
The rest of your rankings are quite solid though.

id understand if shogun just lost recently, but hes been inactive for 8-9 months and will be for a few more months, mma madness has him at #8. And i know its not based on who will win, but thats what it came down to in my mind, cuz they were tied imo, but now i see ur rite quinton shuld be #2
