UFC is coming back to Florida!

I know this isn't the best post in the world, and you would think there would be an article on it somewhere, but I guess not. I was driving to work today and South Florida has a morning show called "The Morning Buzz" and today at around 7:30 they had Dana White on a telephone call. Besides hyping up 86, telling the hosts who he was and where he came from, he let out at least one interesting tibit of info that I hadn't heard before. They asked when the UFC was coming back to Florida and if it would again be at the Seminole Hard rock. Dana, as if it was the question he was waiting for the whole time, starts talking about it. He basically said that the UFC will be back in Florida soon, but not at the Seminole. He also said when they come back they want to do it big and it will definitely be a PPV. He didn't say when, or where, but any info linking the UFC to florida is great for us Floridians.

Awesome news! As long as it's not at the Miami Arena or University of Miami basketball complex, I'm happy. Those two places are shitholes and need to be wiped off the map.

I'm sure he will try to get into a big arena, I can't wait to actually go to a UFC event. I hope its a big one, maybe with Hendo/Franklin for MW title..that would be nice..or A.Silva fighting Chuck

I hope it is the ORena becasue I live in the Orlando area. I would alos like to see the UFC come to Jacksonville since that is my home town and they have a brand new arena to host the event. I can't wait til they come to Florida because I have never been to a live event and would love to go.

I would love it being in the Orlando area as I am only about an hour away. I also have never seen a live event, and I can't wait. Once it comes around I will definitely start a thread and see if we can get some board people together, maybe have a little after party or something.

Orlando Arena or American Airlines, no diff to me im 2 hours between the both.

Thanks for the update! I live about 30 min. from Orlando and have never been to a live event. I dont care where it is going to be I am buying a ticket! Repd!

WAR FLA...Im really hopin for like AA arena or even the Bank Atlantic center I really dont wanna have to drive to Central or North Florida to watch but I will if I have to
