Mac's top 10 overrated fighters
I've got a top 10 of my own, overrated fighters. Now this isn't necessarilly all about where they are ranked but also the amount of exposure they get. Without further ado.
10. Thiago Silva ( good record, but against who? We will see after Wandy fight)
9. Nick Diaz (working out a deal to use his face instead of little white glove on Hamburger helper boxes)
8. Robbie Lawler (shot up the ranks for becoming Elite MW champ)
7. Tim Sylvia (really hasn't been the devastating striker he was before that positive test?)
6. Dennis Kang (was said that he would wreak havoc on the MW division because of hugely padded record)
5. Matt Serra (TUF catapulted largely marginal fighter to fame, fluke KO of GSP made him world champ, utter domination in second fight showed the truth)
4. Randy Couture (16-8 record doesn't seem like proof that the only thing left for you to prove is to fight Fedor)
3. Phil Baroni (.500 fighter who seems to get more airtime than most champs?)
2. Tito Ortiz (great self promoter who has proven very little in the octagon over past couple of years)
1. Kimbo Slice (Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
OK, go ahead and flame, I am sure some people may have intelligent replies or even their own additions.

this is a shitty list.
how can aurelio even be on an "over-rated" list? he beat the #1 ranked LW in the world and still alot of people don't even know who the guy is
and you have Guida on the list, who should have won the decesion against griffin, who gets way more hype than guida...griffin should be on the list, not clay.

I don't think Guida is overrated because the whole reason he is popular and people talk about him is because he puts on entertaining fights, not because of his record. So people aren't always going on about how amazing he is like Kimbo is billed but instead he is thought of as someone we want to watch fight. All I am saying is that he is rated highly for what he does which is put on good fights but not rated as a challenger for the title.

Definitely like the list Mac. I agree with atleast 8 outta 10. Not gonna say what ones because I don't feel like gettin flamed. Neo hit it on the button, you gotta have balls to make a post like this.
But I will say, number 4 is the shit

i am going to flame about that fluke ko, that was no fluke, gsp got caught and serra beat his ass up and down that ring, no fluke, no lucky shot, no nothing, he got his ass beat
i think bisbing is overrated until i am proved otherwise against top fighters, give the guy a top ten fighter, he keeps getting fed chumps
ortiz is overrated
diaz is underrated, he can beat anybody in the world on the right day

I'd put Filho on that list too but some might disagree with me on that.

Agree with like...8 out of those ten. I would take Matt Serra completely out of the picture on this list because it wasn't a, "Fluke." What's that saying? Calling another fighters victory a fluke is a losers excuse or something.
I'd replace Serra with Jardine. Even though I agree with Kimbo - It's not his fault. So I can't hold it against him for what OTHER people say, but I agree he should probably be on the list.
