anybody who wrote denis kang deserves a nice slap and a neg, how can denis kang be overrated, this is MMA not boxing, u dun go on 22 fight win streaks in MMA because your a can, i dun care who you are, if you do that while your in pride, ur not overrated, just like Wand Silva. Kang is going thru a phase in his career, hes lost 3 of his last 4, so that makes him 23-3 in his last 26... overrated... i think not. Struggling in his career.... yes....

First of all Kang only had like 7 or 8 fights in Pride, he did not go on a 22 fight win streak in Pride, most of those came in Spirit and smaller shows against less than mediocre fighters. Kang has the most padded record in all of MMA. He is a good fighter but people calling him top 5 for the better part of 2 years makes him overrated IMO.
His best wins are Gono, Suloev and Ninja, none of which are world beaters.
Anyone who says someone went on a 22 fight win streak while in Pride should be slapped, I don't think there is anyone who even fought 22 times in Pride.

im not saying he went on a 22 fight win streak in pride, im saying he was on a 22 win streak while in pride. This isnt boxing ur fogetting, especially a couple of years ago, every fighter was and still is a threat. In Boxing you can go 39-0 and face one legitimate contender and lose, and u can call this fighter overrated, in mma gong on a 22 win streak is still hard. Hes at a cross roads in his carrer. He has all the skill to be top 5 MW and i think hell showcase that, he caught a tough break in the bushdio tourney ripping his bicep and hasnt been able to make it back since then.
I remb every1 was saying silva is overrated, that he just beat up a buncha lazy japs. He was at a cross roads in his career as well. He gave the best chuck ive ever seen the hardest fight ive ever seen somebody give him. And he rolled over a very game Jardine, so i look to see kang back in winning form, and im sure he will be... War Kang

Ok, well if you take the wins he got while on that 22 win streak that were not in Pride which constitute of 15 wins came against guys with a combined record of 109-96 the biggest name being Mark Weir, seems a little padded to me.
Lol, I used fight finder.

Guida doesn't deserve to be on ANYBODY'S list for overrated fighters.
Other than that notion, I like Mac's list.

I was really excited when M.Serra beat GSP in there first fight. I like GSP and can't stand Serra, but I enjoy an unexpected result sometimes.
Matt Serra is an overrated fighter IMO. He hasn't been in all out wars like other top level guys.
I feel he got lucky in his decision win over Lytle.
I disagree with some of the list-Giuda needs to be taken off. He's one of the toughest fighters in the world-win or lose, he always fights.
Jardine should definately be on there and Chuck Liddell. I like Chuck he just hasn't evolved and I get tired of him being the main event.Rashad Evans is also overrated even with an unbeaten record. He thinks more of himself than I do.
Hoston Alexander?- I hate to say it b/c he has been very exciting
How about most boring fighter? There are too many that fight for a decision or fight not to lose (if you know what I mean).
Machida (great record,but not explosive)
Tim Sylvia (as boring as they come) I wouldn't pay $9.95 to watch him fight anymore. I've been let down too many times. Fedor is, of course, the draw in their fight.
There are plenty more- feel free to help me out here.

You have to be carefull saying that boxing is different from MMA in that boxing uses lesser fighters to build up someones reputation and MMA doesn't. There are several fighters in MMA with sub 500 records yet still get fights all the time. These are guys used as punching bags much in the same way boxing uses fighters with sub 500 records.
