5th Round Finish?
How many finishes has there been in the 5th round of a championship fight? I'm not sure if I made this thread before (as I have been thinking about it for a while). I used the search function and I didn't find anything.
I can only think of one fight (via sub, tko, ko) in the 5th round... Randy/Ricco. I can think of three 4th rounders finishes and quite a few decisions.
5th Round finishes
Randy/Ricco @ UFC 39
4th round finishes:
- Hughes/Newton II @ UFC 38
- Tito/Frank shamrock @ UFC 22
- Chuck/Horn II @ UFC 54
Does anyone know of anymore?

I guess if that went to 5 rounds, it would've bene a decision eh? I"m just playing with u with smoogy.. it's something I didn't think of either.
I thought of another 4th round finish in addition to Barnett/Severn (that you mentioned)... Hughes/Sakurai
