John doesn't and never did work for the UFC. he works for the commission. Dana white has no say over who refs their fights.

Well, that does change in the UK though. Since the UFC acts as their own commission there. I wonder how they choose.

So he is basically saying he retired because he didnt like UFC. I wonder if we'll have another Randy/UFC lawsuit involving BJM now. Didnt UFC have exclusive contract with BJM?

The Commision own the ref not the Orgs...that's why we see these MMA refs sometimes in other MMA Orgs.

But UFC had something worked out with UFC where he only works for the UFC. When was the last time you saw BJM work for any other organization?

Yeah but I'm pretty sure BJM might have had an exclusive contract with the UFC. When PRIDE came to America, I saw all of the regular UFC refs there minus Big John. Same with all the EXC shows among others.
