Heard that MfC promoter was a dick but Fickett burned his bridges with EliteXC.
Remember he was supposed to fight Shields in Hawaii on the 14 then got injured but then competed on the June 7 card for Rage in the Cage.
So you say your injured and can't make the June 14 fight, but then you compete on June 7th?

Based on Shields' history. How in the blue hell can you accuse him of ducking anyone? He's fought the best fighters that weren't in UFC at the time, at WW and MW. Unless Mach, Kikuchi, Okami, Pyle, Menne, Condit, and now Nick Thompson are all duck jobs. EXC has offered Jake the title fight with a can, and he refuses to "not earn what I've worked so hard for".

Ah if that is the case, Fickett has no-one but himself to blame. Let him go play in the skate park while the big boys play in the cage.
