Im not sure of the whole situation but I was under the impression that fickett pulled out of the fight with shields and then went on to fight in some small promotion.

any info would be appreciated

I don't know if I have "the truth" but I do have a bit of insight.....

Fickett is most likely a little upset about comments that Jake made about the fight they were supposed to have

I mean I can't blame the guy for not wanting to fight me if he's not 100%, but I don't think its right to fight somebady else after you've pulled out of a fight already.

Like I said, that's paraphrased, but that was pretty much the extent and the tone of the interview.

Drew's probably just really lit because he was set to make a good bit of money for his short notice fight. Like he said, $20,000 is a lot of money. I doubt he would have gotten that for the Shields fight. If Fickett's pissed off about the above comments from Jake, he's a little off. I think Jake could have been a lot more harsh.

I find it kind of odd that everyone is on Fickett's side here. This all seems to be his fault

He shouldnt have ever agreed to fight Shields if he didnt plan on doing it
